it is my latest Oil on 11"x14" Linen panel. Students from my last class may enjoy seeing this online. It was started in class and used as a demo on how to use your photographic reference and working them into a painting. Composition, relaying colors, playing up the warm and cools and the effects of light on the scene, while establishing atmospheric depth where the photograph may flatten it out were emphasized. This is the same reference that 7 artist friends all did a painting of. It was a fun exercise and critique of how each artist' literally approached the same subject differently. Hope you enjoy the view... always enjoy your reviews too.
